About WeTend

Built by the woman
who needed it most.

I am a triple board-certified pediatric liver transplant physician at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I am also a mother of three. For years I ran two full-time jobs in one body — and I built WeTend because I was exhausted by the second one.

Two full-time jobs. One body. No way out.

I clock out from job one — the operating room, the clinic, the research, the teaching. I clock in to job two. The insurance callback I have been putting off. The school form due tomorrow. The prescription that expired. The appointment I keep moving to next week.

Job two has no title, no pay, no end time, and no one notices when you do it well. It just sits in your head at 11pm while you are trying to sleep.

I am not unique. 71% of professional mothers carry the majority of household mental load regardless of how demanding their career is. The problem is not our capacity. The problem is the design.

I spent years looking for a solution. Personal assistants were expensive and hard to manage. Apps required me to manage the app. Virtual assistants still needed direction. Every option kept me in the loop — which was the problem I was trying to solve.

So I built WeTend. A life administration platform that removes professional mothers from the loop completely. Our coordinator handles your household administration — in your name, under your authorization — while you live your life.

The dashboard is yours. The mental load is ours.

I can actually lie in bed and not spiral about how much of my kids' life I missed filling forms.

Why WeTend exists

Three moments that built this company.

01

The open house

I missed it. I was at the hospital. I was proud of myself. I got home and my kids came in crying. Mom. Today was open house. You forgot to come see what I built all year. I stood there and started doing what we all do. Mom fail. Not enough. I built WeTend for that version of me.

02

The 11pm spiral

I would lie in bed mentally running through the list. The insurance denial I had to appeal. The school form. The HVAC tune-up. The prescription. The pediatric appointment I had been rescheduling for three months. Not because I did not care. Because I never had time. WeTend closes the loop so you can close your eyes.

03

The research

46% of women physicians report burnout symptoms. They are leaving clinical medicine 15 years earlier than their male colleagues. Not because the medicine is too hard. Because they cannot do the medicine and everything else. WeTend is not a productivity tool. It is an infrastructure decision.

The team

Small. Precise. Physician-trained.

Nisreen Soufi, MD
Founder and CEO

Triple board-certified pediatric physician, Clinical Associate Professor at CHLA and USC Keck, NIH-funded researcher, mother of three, and the original WeTend client. She built this because she lived the problem. She runs it with the same rigor she brings to the operating room.

Raghda Al-Quaisi
Chief Operating Officer

Executive operations manager trained to physician-grade standards. Raghda runs the operational backend of WeTend end-to-end — coordinator management, client onboarding, task delivery, and quality control. She already runs a complex physician's professional life without the physician in the loop. That is the proof of concept.

What we believe

Three things we never compromise on.

You are out of the loop. Completely.

Every competitor still requires the mother to manage the relationship, approve actions, and stay engaged. That cognitive engagement is the problem we are solving. WeTend's goal is to remove you from the loop entirely, not reorganize the loop.

Human warmth is the product.

Not just AI. Not just automation. A real coordinator who knows your life, anticipates what needs handling, and does it before you notice the problem. The human layer creates a level of trust and connection that an app cannot replicate.

Your data is sacred.

You are sharing your family's most sensitive information with us. We treat that with clinical-grade seriousness. Bank-level encryption, strict access controls, and a data handling standard built by a physician who understands what trust means.

You deserve an empty mind.

Not someday. Now. Let us build your Life OS in five days and run it every month so you never have to think about it again.
